  28. INSTALLING WINZLE!

  31. From a CD-ROM:
  32. --------------------------
  33. First, create a directory for the Winzle! files:
  34.  
  35. Using the MS-DOS Prompt        Using File Manager
  36. -----------------------        ------------------
  37. Type MD\WINZLE            Click on the root directory (C:\)
  38. Press [Enter]            Click on File
  39.                 Click on Create Directory
  40.                 Type Winzle
  41.                 Press [Enter]

  43. Next, copy the Winzle! files to the newly created directory.

  45. Using the MS-DOS Prompt        Using File Manager

  47. C: [ENTER]            Make sure you have two windows visible in File
  48. CD\WINZLE [ENTER]           Manager. If not, click on Window, then
  49. COPY A:\*.* C: [ENTER]           New Window.
  50.                 In one window, click on the WINZLE directory
  51. (This is an example of           you just created.
  52. copying from a diskette.    In the other window, click on the drive
  53. For a CD-ROM, substitute       and then the directory where the Winzle!
  54. the drive letter and            files are located.

  57.                    holding it down click on the last file in

  59.                    directory will now be highlighted.
  60.                 Click again on any of the highlighted files
  61.                    but DO NOT RELEASE THE MOUSE BUTTON. You
  62.                    can now "drag" the files to the WINZLE
  63.                    directory in the other window by moving
  64.                    the mouse cursor to the WINZLE directory.
  65.                 Once the mouse cursor is over the WINZLE
  66.                    directory, release the mouse button. This
  67.                    will copy all the highlighted files to the
  68.                    WINZLE directory.

  70. Finally, install the Winzle! icon on your Program Manager display.

  72. Method 1            Method 2 (the easy way)

  74. Using either keyboard or    In File Manager, click on WINZLE.EXE in the 
  75. mouse, switch to the program       WINZLE directory. DO NOT RELEASE THE MOUSE
  76. group you want to install       button. "Drag" the mouse cursor to the
  77. Winzle! in (usually "GAMES"),       Program Manager program group you want to
  78. then click on:               install Winzle! in (usually "GAMES"), then

  93. You may not need it. Check your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory to see if a copy
  94. is already there. If so, then you can delete the copy that came with Winzle!.
  95. If not, you need VBRUN300.DLL either in that directory or in the WINZLE
  96. directory. We recommend that you place it in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
  97. so that all programs can share it, thus meaning you only need one copy on
  98. your computer.
